So if you don’t want to bother spending the time to learn icon design on your own, what does the busy programmer do? Why, they hire someone, of course! These fellows named Soft Facade posted a message on LinkedIn about themselves,
We design professional and eye-catchy logos that will outstand your application among the competitors. Then we create application icon in two sizes: 512×512 pixels image for iTunes Store and 57×57 for iPhone screen basing on the logo.
If you already have logo we can create iPhone application icon (512×512 and 57×57 package) basing on your design.
Also we offer Tab bar icons, Options icons, Splash screen design
Moreover we can design user interface for your iPhone application.
and they do indeed seem to make very pretty icons indeed. I do believe I’ll contact them for a quote next time I have something that requires more artistic ability than your average troll displays, indeed.
